ABOUT THE INSTITUTE




     India BahuudeshiyaShikshanSanstha, Buldana is established in the year 1986 under the public Trust Act, 1950 No.29 having a registration no. Mah.1344/f-1410. The IBSS B.Sc Nursing College was started in the academic year2008- 2009. The College is recognized by Indian Nursing Council, Delhi, and Maharashtra Nursing Council, Mumbai. Also the College is affiliated by Maharashtra University Of Health Sciences, Nashik.

     The founder president of India Bahuudeshiya Shikshan Sanstha, Buldana late Dr. Rajendra V. Gode himself renowned general surgeon and educationalist, also the Ex. Minister of Home and Industry Government of Maharashtra. Today IBSS is known as leading educational group in Maharashtra in the span of 24 years with number of institutes such as Medical college & superspeciality hospital, Ayurvedic college,Nursing, Engineering,Agriculture, D.Ed, Pharmacy and number of Primary and High School &Junior College located in the different cities of Maharashtra.

     IBSS’S B.Sc Nursing college takes pride for being the first of its Kind to offer Bsc. Nursing(Basic), a professional Degree Programme, in Buldana District from August 2008.


Location




     The College is located in the Rajendra Nagar, Sagwan, Buldana, The city is well connected with the rest of the country by road.


Campus




     The College campus is situated at the sagwan area.It provides a serene environment for learning and assimilation. It has all the basic amenities and facilities and facilities and is easily approachable from all corners of the city by road and readily available public transport. The Buldana Bus station is Just 2 Kilometers away from the College campus.


College Profile




     The College is planned for doing pioneering work, in the field of Nursing Education and for imparting professional expertise, to the young aspirants who will be groomed to dedicate themselves to the service of humanity. The collegiate programme is being initiated and organized by Indira Bahuuddeshiya shikshan Sanstha, Chikhli Road Buldana, District Buldana, Maharashtra.

     The College has already been recognized by Government of Maharashtra, Indian Nursing Council ( INC), The apex Nursing Body of the country, as well as approved by the Maharashtra nursing council Mumbai (MNC). The College is affiliated to Maharashtra University of health sciences, Nashik (MUHS)


Philosophy of the college




     The college believes in training professional nurses from all States of India especially in rural area to meet the challenges of the modern health care delivery system, in conformity with the discipline of nursing profession. Nursing is a lifelong service to the people and therefore, the IBSSB’S B.sc Nursing College, focuses on preparing students for maximum professional effectiveness through their career, through relevant educational processes, facilitating continued personnel and professional growth to meet the needs of the society.

The Basic principle guiding the College of Nursing is the noble Ideal of Service with a spirit of renunciation, sacrificing one’s own self interest for a greater cause which the Indira Baahuudde shiya Shikshan Sanstha endeavors to give effect through its multifarious activities.Forming the Basic Philosophy behind caring for patients with a spirit of devotion and commitment, regardless of caste, creed or religion and therefore the college shall endeavor to train the students to acquire knowledge, develop skills and positive attitude, as also enable them to carry out their duties and responsibilities as a competent professional nurse.


Objectives




1.Asound theoretical and practical knowledge of nursing care at basic as well as advanced level, contributing to the promotion, preventive, and restorative aspects of health.

2.The ability to think and act independently with full responsibilities as a qualified nurse and as a spiritual human being.

3.The confidence to take up leadership positions, assume responsibilities in nursing, and engage in pioneering work while maintaining personal and professional growth.

4.The skill to maintain a center of excellence for the pursuit of higher studies in nursing and to stay updated with contemporary and future developments.

5.The capacity to remain calm, serene, and composed, and never lose temper even in challenging situations.

6.The habit of strict punctuality in all activities and obligations.
